Romanian Blue Air has announced its first routes to Croatia

Romanian low-cost air carrier Blue Air (0B/BLA) plans its first routes from Romania to Croatia for summer 2022 timetable. There will be two seasonal summer routes from Bucharest (Otopeni - Henri Coanda Airport) to Dubrovnik and Split. Bucharest - Dubrovnik route is offered twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from June 28th to September 27th. Bucharest - Split route is offered also twice a week, but on Thursdays and Sundays, from June 23th to September 29th. So far, Blue Air operated to Croatia only on very rear unregular charter arrivals.
This Romanian air company was founded in 2004. At the begining, their first operational base was at the secondary Bucharest airport "Baneasa - Aurel Vlaicu". After this airport was closed for all regular passanger flights in 2012, Blue Air moved its flight services to current main Bucharest airport. Beside Bucharest they also perate flights from Romaian cities Bacau, Cluj and Iasi, as well as from Milan and Turin in Italy. Currently they have 18 Boeing 737s (in the picuture) in several different versions and they fly to up to 57 destinations, mainly in Europe.
