Aeroflot - Russian Airlines announced two new routes to Croatia
Written by Jan Kotek.
Russian flag air carrier Aeroflot - Russian Airlines (SU/AFL), a member of SkyTeam Alliance, has started ticket sales for two new routes from Russia to Croatia. New daily flights from June 1st are availble for booking on routes from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) to Dubrovnik and Pula. Aeroflot has removed flights to Dubrovnik in 2015. This route was operated daily with a smaller Airbus A319, however now a larger Boeing 737-800 (in the picture) is announced for this year.
Until now, Aeroflot has never operated regular flights to Pula, only some tourist charter flights from Moscow several years ago during summer. This will be the first inauguration of regular flights for Pula Airport. Flight will be operated with a Boeing 737-800. It is interesting that currently there aren't any flights available for booking on a long-term summer seasonal route from Moscow to Split.
There are also flights available on a regular service from Moscow to Zagreb. This route was resumed few weeks ago. It started with one flight a week, on Thursdays, but until June it will operate 3 flights a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a Sukhoi SSJ-100 and Airbus A320. Aeroflot has withdrawn all regular service to Croatia last year, at the begining of the pandemic, and didn't operate any regular flights to Croatia last summer.
