Written by Karlo Mudri.
A new Trade Air aircraft (C3 / TDR) has landed at Dr. Franjo Tudjman International Airport yesterday. An Airbus A320-214 with registration 9A-BTI and named Luka, is a third Airbus A320 in their fleet alongside the 9A-BTG and 9A-BTH aircraft. In addition to Airbus aircraft, the fleet also includes a Fokker 100 with registration 9A-BTE.
The aircraft was manufactured in March 2004 in Toulouse for Air Malta, where it flew until November 2010. After that it was leased to Mexican Interjet where it flew until February 2014. It later returned to Air Malta for which it flew until March 2020 and was placed in storage and eventually leased by Trade Air. It is worth mentioning that the aircraft has undergone a thorough overhaul of the cabin and has a capacity of 180 passengers.
